Reading Scenarios
Scenario reading is where Liuyao becomes concrete. The chart is still built from six lines, Na Jia, Six Relatives, Shi-Ying, month, day, and moving lines, but the question decides which signs matter first.
The same symbol cannot be read the same way in every field. Officer/Ghost may be a real role in a career question, illness pressure in a health question, or official pressure in a dispute. The scenario gives the chart its grammar.

Reading Order
Start with the exact question. Then choose the useful line, check Shi and Ying, test the line against month and day, and only then read moving lines and special states such as void, monthly break, hidden spirit, or clash.
Classical Frame
Manuals such as Zengshan Buyi and Bushi Zhengzong repeatedly sort examples by the matter being asked. This is a practical habit, not just a library arrangement. It prevents a reader from forcing one rule onto every chart.
FAQ
How should I choose a scenario page?
Choose the page that matches the actual question, not the emotional tone around it. A contract payment belongs closer to wealth and documents than to general luck.
Can one question use more than one useful line?
Yes. A broad question may have one main useful line and several supporting lines, but they should not all be treated as equal.
Why do scenarios matter in Liuyao?
The same sign can change meaning by context. Officer/Ghost may show a job title in career reading, but an illness sign in health reading.
Are these pages advice?
No. They are cultural-study notes on traditional Liuyao. Medical, legal, financial, and safety decisions need real-world evidence and qualified professionals.
What should beginners read before these pages?
Read casting methods, Yong Shen, Six Relatives, Shi-Ying, moving lines, and month-day before relying on scenario readings.
